Meet the coaches


Matt Dymond - Head Coach

Matthew Dymond , Started with his first triathlon in 1985 in Nowra and then commenced to race over 350 races including 2 Hawaiian Ironman World  Titles , 10 Australian Ironmans , Beijing World ITU Championships , and a host of local  and International races. 

Matt was Awarded NSW Triathlon Age-Group Coach of the Year 2013 by Triathlon NSW and Australian Triathlon Age-group Coach of the Year 2013 by Triathlon Australia. It was the first time such Awards have been given in Australia. Matt was acknowledged for his contribution to the sport of triathlon and for being an outstanding Triathlon Coach by his peers at the Celebration of Champions Awards Ceremony March 2013. Matt is also the founder of Coogee triathlon club director of 226multisport triathlon coaching for beginners coaching all out of Sydney.

Nicole Foley - Track Coach

Nicole is 226 Multisports Run, Strength & Conditioning and Junior Coach. She has a Bachelor of Education (Humanities), Cert. 3 in Fitness (Gym Instruction), Cert. 3 in Fitness (Personal Training) and is a Level 0 Triathlon Coach. Nicole is an accomplished triathlete having competed in triathlons for over 14 years in Sprint to Ironman distances. She was NSW Tri Series Age Group Champion in the 90’s. Forster Ironman Finisher 4x with a PB of 10hrs:19mins in 2001; 2x Finisher of Hawaiian Ironman 1996/1999; completed 6 foot track 2001 in 4hrs:55mins; finished several Marathons and Half Marathons and has completed the Sydney City to Surf over 10 times. In 2013 Nicole completed the New York Marathon in 3hrs:17mins

Braedon Jones - Junior Coach

Braedon Jones is a Level 1 Triathlon Coach. He has represented Australia at the London World Titles 2013. He is currently racing as a professional in the Australian Series. Braedon is an experienced swim stroke correction coach.

Charles Legget - Assistant Coach

Charles is an ironman competing at the Associated World Titles with a personal best of 9:14. He drives to qualify for the World Championships in Hawaii. 

Andy Jones - Assistant Coach

Andy is a Level 1 Triathlon coach with a passion for swim coaching. He has competed in all triathlons from sprint distance to ironman.
